Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our esteemed client, a prominent organization in the finance sector. This pivotal role requires a professional with a solid background in payroll processing and financial administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate processing of monthly payroll, including calculations for starters, leavers, commissions, bonuses, and overtime.
  • Assessment and calculation of various types of absences, including Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) and Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP).
  • Timely completion of Real Time Information (RTI) submissions and pension contributions.
  • Preparation and submission of P11D forms and other payroll-related returns to HMRC.
  • Compilation of year-end reports and distribution of P60 forms.
  • Collaboration with the Human Resources department to gather and process payroll data efficiently.
  • Conducting payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy for audit purposes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in payroll administration is preferred; however, backgrounds in HR or Finance will also be considered.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to performing tasks with precision.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
