Oyster Care Homes is committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a General Manager at our Collington Park Lodge Care Home in Bexhill.

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and monitor the care delivered to residents, ensuring that legal requirements are met and the highest standards are maintained.
* Responsible for ordering, checking in, and stock control of residents' prescribed medication, maintaining effective stock management systems.
* Recruit and train suitable team members, ensuring effective inductions and compliance with CIS standards.
* Control and monitor the budget and expenditure of the home, preparing monthly cash flow reports for the Directors.
* Support residents with their personal financial arrangements, maintaining confidentiality of all information.
* Responsible for the marketing, promotion, and sales of the home.

Requirements:

* Ability to control and manage budgets and accounts.
* Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff.
* Leadership qualities, enthusiasm, influencing, and motivational skills.
* Understanding of Bexhill's local authority.
* Experience with regulatory bodies.
* Knowledge of Person Centred Software (PCS).
