About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our Asda Express store team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, setting standards, and delivering key performance indicators (KRAs). You will be the primary motivator, maintaining morale and creating an operation that keeps customers coming back.

You will support Asda's pricing strategy and maintain costs. If you are looking for a challenging role that will help you develop further in retail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As part of the leadership team, you will work on a rolling rota, which will include weekends, evenings, and sometimes late nights. You will be required to deal with management issues, such as disciplinary and grievances, in a professional manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing rota planning and holidays.

About You

We are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change. You will be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. You will have good leadership and people skills, as well as be a strong coach, role model, and mentor who inspires the team to be the best they can be.
