About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Lifting Equipment Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of lifting equipment and pressure systems across various industries, including marine, agriculture, manufacturing, and power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect and test lifting equipment and pressure systems to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  4. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including inspection reports and maintenance schedules.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A HNC or above in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and servicing lifting equipment and pressure systems.
  • Strong knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
