Job Title: Chief Compliance Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Compliance Officer to lead our compliance function. This pivotal role will oversee our compliance efforts across all operations, ensuring that our activities adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Compliance Program: Design, implement, and oversee a robust compliance program that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our operations comply with UK and international regulations governing the insurance brokerage and employee benefits sectors.
  3. Provide Expert Advice: Provide expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  4. Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Implement Compliance Training: Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining compliance.
  6. Investigate Compliance Issues: Oversee investigations into compliance issues and breaches, developing corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure our compliance function remains effective.

About the Role: This is a hybrid role with some travel across our offices. The successful candidate will be based in either Surrey or Manchester.
