Job Title: Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to lead our ecological contracting work packages on site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the UK, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small site team to deliver ecological contracting work packages on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor and track daily plant, labour, equipment, and material allocations to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Undertake general maintenance on small plant, tools, and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Adhere to site safety, environmental, and well-being requirements at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the delivery of our services.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Proven experience of managing teams within a practical land management setting.
  • CSCS card and full driving licence, ideally with Trailer Licence (B+E).
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Ability to travel and stay away from home regularly.

Desirable:

  • PTS AC/DC qualification.
  • SSSTS qualification.
  • PA1/PA6W herbicide spraying qualification.
  • CS30 & 31 chainsaw qualifications.
  • LANTRA Woodchipper and Brushcutter qualifications.
  • Experience of operating a wide variety of plant with relevant tickets.
  • Safety Critical Medical qualification.
  • Highways England Common Induction qualification.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £29,000, depending on experience, plus overtime and weekend supplements. You will also receive paid accommodation and subsistence allowance when working away, access to a company vehicle for site duties, life assurance, and a flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays, health cash plan, and discounted gym membership. We also offer a contributory Pension Scheme and private health care.
