We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our team in Trafford. As a key member of our Podiatry Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate specialist programmes of care for patients with complex medical conditions and social needs.
  • Conduct initial triage and assessment of patients referred to determine their acceptance into the service.
  • Provide subsequent specialist assessments to assist in the determination of medical/clinical diagnosis and formulation of treatment plans.
  • Be actively involved in audit to ensure that treatment is evidence-based and to enable informed judgments regarding patient care and service development.
  • Support the development of a culture of accountability and governance at all levels.

Person Specification
  • Diploma/Degree in a relevant profession.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Evidence of postgraduate study relevant to specialism.
  • Appropriate relevant postgraduate experience working in a community setting.
  • Supervision of junior staff/students.
  • Clinical Audit and standard setting.
  • Full valid UK driving license.
Desirable
  • Evidence of professional networking in the area of specialisation.
  • Student Accreditation.
