This is a unique chance to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, where you can help prisoners develop essential skills and qualifications. As a Barbering Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training programs, using your expertise to inspire and motivate learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Barbering courses to adult learners in a prison education setting
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities
- Assess and provide feedback to learners on their progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics
- A Degree or professional qualification in Barbering or a related field
- Teaching Qualification
- Assessors Qualification
- Level 3 in Barbering
- Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies
- Excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills
