Assistant Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at The Dusty Miller, a friendly and independent village pub in Harlow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head Chef and General Manager to drive business growth and development
  • Open and close the site, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation
  • Run the site in the absence of the General Manager, making key decisions and taking charge
  • Manage and motivate the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Identify opportunities to drive sales and implement effective strategies to achieve results
  • Manage stock and cash control, ensuring accurate records and minimizing losses
  • Order and take stock, maintaining a well-stocked and organized inventory
  • Ensure the team delivers exceptional customer service at all times, meeting and exceeding expectations

Requirements:

  • Friendly and confident, with excellent communication skills
  • Motivated and proactive, with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic
