We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hydrologist to join our team at Allen & York. As a Senior Hydrologist, you will play a key role in advising on matters relating to river and water pollution, effluent treatment, drainage, and contaminated land.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver project-specific assessments and designs for flood mitigation and SuDS schemes
  • Manage and mentor junior members of staff, demonstrating project management and technical leadership skills
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and project delivery
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for water management and flood risk mitigation

Requirements

  • Hold or be working towards chartership
  • Relevant Masters or PhD in a related field
  • Extensive experience of flood risk management and SuDS
  • Proven track record of delivering projects and managing teams
