About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, ensuring each resident receives personalized attention and companionship. This rewarding role requires empathy, excellent communication skills, and a can-do attitude.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being
• Follow care plans and ensure each resident receives the highest standard of care and support
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and support

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach, and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you will have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents. Person Specification

• Essential qualifications: experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach, and excellent communication skills
• Disclosure and Barring Service Check: this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions
