In light of ongoing success within a significant contract, we are looking for a committed Multi-Skilled Technician to become part of our team, servicing various locations.

Job Overview: The Multi-Skilled Technician will be tasked with delivering extensive building fabric maintenance services across diverse sites. This position encompasses a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responsive maintenance duties, both inside and outside, to guarantee the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities. Your skills will play a vital role in sustaining services and reducing expenses by managing work internally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute PPM and reactive maintenance on building fabrics, which includes:
    • Building repairs
    • Fabric upkeep
    • Painting and decorating
    • Plumbing and drainage
    • Joinery
    • Scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed to a high standard and within specified timeframes.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to identify maintenance requirements and address them promptly.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members and contractors as necessary to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain precise records of all maintenance activities, including work completed, materials utilized, and time invested.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies consistently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 Trade qualification (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within a retail or commercial setting
  • Strong knowledge of building fabric maintenance across various disciplines
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
