Day Shifts: £15.75 Monday to Friday (opportunities for weekend overtime)

Night Shifts: £18.24 Monday to Friday (opportunities for weekend overtime)

ROLE DETAILS:
Rapier Employment is actively seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for our esteemed client in the Nottingham region. Both day and night shifts are available, with trunking routes extending to Scotland. Due to the high-value nature of the cargo, a valid DBS check is required prior to starting any assessments and work on site. The vehicles are equipped with maple locks and an anti-hijack system, and all drivers are provided with a panic alarm and 360-degree cameras inside the cab.
Candidates will need to complete a driving and theory assessment, along with a drugs and alcohol test after successful pre-employment checks.
SHIFT TIMINGS:
Day Shifts: Starting between am
Night Shifts: Starting between pm, predominantly pm

ADDITIONAL POSITION INFORMATION:
  • Utilizing box trailers.
  • Involves bay work.
  • Long-term employment opportunity.
  • Weekend work available if desired.
  • Expected hours: 50-60 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Proven experience in Class 1 driving.
  • Must have held an HGV Class 1 Licence for a minimum of one year.
  • At least 6 months of experience operating HGV Class 1 vehicles.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • No DR10s, CD10s, or IN10s - Maximum of 6 points on license.
  • Possession of a Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
