Academic Office Manager

The Role:
Key Responsibilities:- Establish an administrative hub to optimize resource utilization and support business demands.
- Manage the administration team, delegating tasks as needed to meet business requirements.
- Lead the recruitment process for gapped posts and oversee Personal Development Reports (PDRs) for direct reports, identifying additional training needs.
- Mentor new staff members and apprentices, providing support at project meetings and promoting the apprenticeship scheme at careers fairs.
This is a full-time, 35-hour per week position based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential Experience:- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing/supervising and coaching/mentoring a team.
- GCSE in English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent.
- NVQ L3 in Business and Administration or equivalent discipline.
