Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineering Specialist to join our team at ISS Facility Services UK. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management and execution of engineering projects within a critical operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the delivery of engineering projects to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to synchronize business-as-usual activities with project timelines.
  • Implementing Safe Systems of Work to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Reviewing method statements and risk assessments through the P2W system.
  • Overseeing project delivery and implementation processes.
  • Managing handover and warranty procedures.
  • Ensuring all work meets employer and client standards, as well as industry best practices.
  • Supporting the Technical Project Manager in delivering projects and technical services to uphold high service standards.
  • Engaging with clients regarding change control, planning, risks, and documentation.
  • Establishing consistent practices and standards in line with engineering and project governance, including planning, reporting, and risk management.
  • Providing project management support to various workstreams and addressing in-service issues.
  • Maintaining the project delivery roadmap and overall planning with contributions from all teams.
Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A background in electrical engineering with substantial experience in maintaining critical facilities.

This role is designed for a confident engineer who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities while remaining engaged in hands-on work and supervising subcontractors.
