Manpower UK Ltd is partnering with a large public sector client to source On-Call Gritter Drivers for winter road maintenance duties.

These positions will be based at the Castlenavan depot and involve working on a rotational on-call basis, covering gritting duties during ice and snow conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operating gritting vehicles to ensure safe road conditions between October and April
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and driving vehicles safely
  • Following a route map to ensure thorough gritting of roads

Key Requirements:

  • Class C Licence and CPC Card
  • Availability to work at short notice on a 24/7 basis
  • Previous gritting experience and skills in Gritter Driving and HGV 2 Driving

Working Hours:

  • On-call basis between 12pm to midnight and midnight to 12pm, including weekends
  • Rest week every third week
