Position Overview

Facilities Maintenance Technician - Industrial Sector

Multi-Disciplinary Skill Set

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Nights and Days - 12 Hour Shifts)

Introduction

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a facilities maintenance technician seeking a balanced work-life schedule with extended time off between shifts. As part of a dynamic and expanding team, you will thrive in a collaborative atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background complemented by mechanical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting proactive maintenance and scheduled site inspections
  • Responding promptly to equipment failures and performing reactive maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and resolving both electrical and mechanical issues
  • Participating in engineering initiatives such as installations and relocations
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and optimizing machine performance
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on site

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a multi-skilled role encompassing both mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment
