Key Responsibilities:- Lead and work alongside the Deputy Manager to efficiently run the care home
- Ensure all nursing and care staff are registered on the live register with the NMC and NISCC
- Verify that all staff are Access NI Cleared
- Ensure all staff have the correct authority and legal right to work in Northern Ireland and paperwork is in place to support this
- Conduct all pre-employment checks, including references, prior to staff arriving on site
- Maintain adequate staffing levels to ensure the safety of residents and adjust as necessary to meet their needs
- Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring a uniformly high standard of resident care and nursing practice
- At least 1 year of experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager in a care home
- An active and clean NMC Pin
