Job Description

Role Overview

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the commercial management of projects at London Gatwick, working closely with the Programme Commercial Manager to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project life cycle, from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including project teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Provide commercial expertise to support the development of project proposals, tenders, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Commercial Manager to identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring that projects are delivered with minimal financial exposure.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and investment proposals, ensuring that they are well-researched and robust.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in commercial management and project delivery. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
