Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and review our HSE management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and 14001 requirements.
  • Manage and implement site documentation, including the construction phase plan, environmental management plan, and emergency response plan.
  • Chair safety meetings with employees and participate in client site-specific meetings and consultative forums.
  • Review subcontractor risk assessments and method statements, and assist with the development of risk assessments and implementation of safety-critical operating procedures.
  • Plan, conduct, and implement training for operatives, staff, and management in aspects of HSE.
  • Liaise with clients regarding HSE-related matters and assist with monthly KPI reporting.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a safety, health, and environmental role.
  • Nebosh Health and Safety Diploma or equivalent.
  • IEMA Environmental Management certificate.
  • Computer/technical literacy and planning/organizing skills.
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) certification.
