POSITION SUMMARY

The Compliance division is dedicated to upholding regulatory standards as well as adherence to our Code of Conduct and internal policies. The Ethics & Investigations team within this division fosters an ethical environment throughout the organization and conducts impartial investigations into all ethics-related concerns with transparency. This team is responsible for various verification and investigative tasks, including the implementation of ethical guidelines, legal violation inquiries, employee grievances, and investigations related to misconduct.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enhance awareness of Ethics & Compliance policies and standards, including the Code of Conduct, among current employees and oversee the onboarding process for new hires. Implement appropriate training for high-risk groups.
  • Oversee all investigation-related functions with utmost quality, adhering to globally recognized professional standards; these investigations encompass triage, prioritization, assignment, inquiry, and escalation to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Execute the vision and mission of the Investigations team to prevent, identify, and examine instances of fraud and financial misconduct within the organization, ensuring that documentation is thorough and substantiated for all findings.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive case management system for tracking and reporting investigation matters, including the upkeep of databases and tracking tools that document ongoing investigations, updates, and subsequent actions.
  • Deliver timely and pertinent information and insights to the broader Compliance team and relevant business units to address process deficiencies or internal control weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and business units to ensure that action plans resulting from investigations are effectively executed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in fraud investigations, forensic analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Proven leadership capabilities. Ability to manage, inspire, and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong analytical abilities complemented by proficient interviewing and interrogation skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to synthesize, summarize, and convey critical information in an objective and impartial manner.
  • High level of discretion, respect for confidentiality, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Robust background in intelligence gathering, including familiarity with online resources, subscription services, public record checks, and current social media trends.
  • Comprehensive understanding of investigative methodologies and legal and regulatory frameworks pertaining to investigations.
