Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at AmerisourceBergen Corporation. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the transportation department.
  • Abide by all traffic laws and regulations, including tacho-graph laws.
  • Collect and deliver goods to customers as instructed by the transportation staff.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
  • Ensure all orders are loaded and unloaded correctly.
  • Report any damages or shortages to the transportation department.
Requirements
  • A valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Previous experience in transportation or logistics is an asset.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
