Position Overview

Senior Hydraulic Modeler needed for a significant contract role within a reputable firm specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure services. This position focuses on urban drainage and surface water management, catering to a diverse clientele including municipal authorities and development agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of storm overflow discharge reduction initiatives and flood mitigation projects.
  • Direct the construction, upkeep, and validation of hydraulic models.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of wastewater catchment strategies.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables aligns with industry standards and specifications.
  • Assist project managers in the oversight of various projects and programs.
  • Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions and cost estimates.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Drive technical innovation and participate in improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
  • Possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in urban drainage modeling, particularly with ICM software.
  • Familiarity with the UK Water Industry and its regulatory landscape.
  • Proficient in hydraulic modeling, catchment analysis, and solution formulation.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and delivering projects effectively.
  • Skilled in using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
  • Competent in MS 365 applications, with knowledge of tools like PowerBI and SharePoint.
