We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated professional to join our Governance & Assurance (G&A) Business Partnering team within the Insurance, Wealth and Retirement (IWR) sector. This role is pivotal in supporting our G&A Shared Services team in executing strategic objectives effectively and securely.

Overview of the Role:

In this position, you will deliver comprehensive risk and control assessments, offering guidance and support to the IWR division. Your efforts will be crucial in ensuring positive customer experiences, safeguarding the organization’s reputation, and facilitating sustainable growth. You will collaborate with the broader G&A team to enhance risk management practices.

As an individual contributor, you will leverage your expertise in risk management methodologies, systems, and processes, while understanding how Governance functions within the organization. You will take a proactive role in assisting the team with their risk management strategies and identifying potential vulnerabilities in their control frameworks. Additionally, you will provide subject matter expertise on risk and control issues, drawing from your knowledge of the regulatory landscape.

Your insights will be instrumental in recommending process and system enhancements, as well as supporting senior colleagues in crafting effective solutions tailored to the business needs.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Financial Services sector.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management abilities, with a capacity to challenge constructively and engage with enthusiasm and resilience.
