About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Mail Sorter. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sorting and delivery of letters and packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload mail and parcels from delivery vehicles and transport them to designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Operate machinery and equipment to sort and process mail and packages, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve high-volume sorting and processing targets.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to company health and safety standards.
  • Participate in quality control checks to ensure accurate and efficient processing of mail and packages.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in warehouse or sorting work is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and detail-focused with excellent organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Physical ability to push trolleys (up to 250kgs) and lift and move mail bags (up to 11kg).
  • Ability to comfortably stand for long periods.
Working Hours

We offer a range of shifts to accommodate different schedules, including:

  • Early Shift: 06:00-14:00
  • Late Shift: 14:00-22:00
  • Night Shift: 22:00-06:00

Competitive hourly rates apply, with additional pay for Bank Holidays.
