Logistics Project Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding business as a Logistics Project Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the establishment of a new National Distribution Centre (NDC) managed by a third-party logistics provider (3PL).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire logistics function, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Manage contracts and maintain strong relationships with the 3PL provider.
  • Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure high standards are met.
  • Provide strategic input and commercial insight to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the logistics operations.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand and influence commercial outcomes.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex logistics projects from inception to completion.
  • Contract Management: Expertise in overseeing contracts and managing third-party relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability to analyse data, monitor performance metrics, and implement improvements.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
