Job Summary:

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a highly organized and experienced AutoCAD Technician to join our team in Sheffield. As an AutoCAD Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality AutoCAD drawings and providing technically sound engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Produce General Arrangement Drawings, Administration and custodian of Engineering Records, and Asset Management and BOM structure development.
  • Technical Expertise: Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to provide solutions to production and engineering challenges, and develop plant drawings to improve performance and reliability.
  • Problem-Solving: Understand and interpret drawing and specifications to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and problems as they arise.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives, and participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
  • Documentation: Maintain Design Change Registers and ensure appropriate levels of configuration control are applied.
  • Time Management: Utilize well-developed time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
