We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to lead our ecological projects and contribute to the growth of our innovative consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, develop your skills, and collaborate with a talented group of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead ecological projects from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior ecologists, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them grow professionally.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys with precision, collecting and analyzing data to inform project decisions.
- Oversee the production of top-tier reports, including Ecological Impact Assessments and Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments.
- Provide exceptional client service, guiding clients through each stage of their projects and contributing to proposal development.
- Extensive experience in Ecology or a related field, with a strong educational background.
- Expertise in Biodiversity Net Gain and Ecological Impact Assessments, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Membership of a relevant professional body, such as CIEEM, or a willingness to apply.
- Specialized skills, including experience with UKHab surveys or protected species licenses, are an advantage.
- A full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK are essential.
