JOB TITLE: Sanitation Specialist
LOCATION: Parkway Shopping Centre
HOURS: 26.5 hours per week
SHIFT PATTERN: 3 days over 7
PAY RATE: £11.44 per hour
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for ensuring a clean and secure environment for both patrons and staff by actively monitoring and patrolling the premises of a bustling shopping centre. This role focuses on the routine upkeep of the external areas, contributing to the overall management of the centre's daily operations. Please note that this position is primarily outdoors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Monitor and report any unusual occurrences.
· Conduct regular patrols of the external premises.
· Adhere to established instructions and procedures.
· Maintain exceptional cleanliness across all external grounds.
· Operate company cleaning equipment in line with company policies.
· Work effectively in varying weather conditions.
· Perform weeding and window cleaning tasks.
· Remove chewing gum and stains as necessary.
· Ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
· Provide assistance and guidance to the public and visitors.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Strong customer service skills.
· Excellent communication abilities.
· Professional demeanor with sound judgment and integrity.
· Ability to remain composed under pressure.
· Collaborative team player.
· Flexibility to cover for absences.
· Capability to follow detailed instructions.
