As a key member of our Quality department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring certification to IATF16949, China Compulsory Certification, and customer-specific requirements.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining and ensuring certification to IATF16949, China Compulsory Certification, and customer-specific requirements
* Reporting and tracking internal and external audit findings to completion within agreed timescales
* Managing the internal document control system
* Maintaining customer-specific requirements for the plant and ensuring they are captured within the Business Management System
* Supporting the Quality Manager in providing data for the Management Review
* Leading all external Quality certification audits
* Supporting the Quality Manager by leading all internal/Customer Quality audits
* Supporting the Quality Manager with the required corrective action responses to external and internal audit findings/all relevant parties
* Managing the China Compulsory Certification requirements for the business
* Reporting out all identified non-conformities/findings and providing support for management to identify preventative and corrective actions, and close out with auditing body or at site level
* Generating Layered Process Audit (MPA, LPA) analysis data and reporting out to the business
* Managing and maintaining the deviation process for the business
* Providing month-end data to the Quality manager
* Conducting internal and external audits as required by the business and reporting out findings
* Providing performance analysis and metrics as required by the business
* Team member on 8D investigations (where applicable)
* Supporting Kaizen/C.I activities in plant (where applicable)
* Liaising and supporting H&S Coordinator by trending H&S data
* Has knowledge of IAC procedures regarding health and safety at work, incident reporting, EHS screening, actions taken by EHS coordinators and EHS committees
* Understands functional relevant clauses within IATF16949
* Comply with any other requests to ensure the smooth running of the business

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* HND/degree or equivalent in a relevant field
* Proven experience working within a Quality/System-based role
* Experience of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards, including internal audit experience
* Analytical approach/attention to detail
* Independent and self-motivated
* "Can do" attitude with propensity to problem solve
* Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
* Computer literate with Microsoft packages
* Able to travel UK-wide when required
* Able to present to all levels of the organisation
