Are you an experienced Procurement Specialist eager to contribute to the Public Sector? Our client is looking for a proactive individual to join their team as a Procurement Specialist on a Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support procurement and contract management processes, ensuring optimal service delivery within available resources.
- Assist in the execution of Procurement, Purchasing, and Commercial strategies.
- Provide compliance guidance to management regarding operational procurement and commercial practices.
- Help identify and implement procurement risk mitigation strategies, managing risks in line with the organisation's risk appetite.
- Maintain a comprehensive partnership and contracts register to enhance commercial advantages.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of a contract management framework for third-party service providers.
- Facilitate and participate in contract management meetings, ensuring compliance with frameworks and addressing contract risks.
- Adhere to the organisation's Contract Standing Orders.
- Support the daily operations of the Commercial Services team and aid in its continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a comparable position.
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and procedures within the Public Sector.
- Proficient in procurement software and MS Office applications.
