Senior Oracle Engineer

VIQU IT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Engineer to join a leading UK organisation for an initial 12-month Fixed-Term Contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and optimise cloud-based IT services, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Proactively manage maintenance tasks, develop strategies that align with business goals, and resolve complex third-line issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors to implement effective solutions, develop innovative and cost-effective solutions, and assess emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to the organisation's long-term IT strategy by refining processes, policies, and tools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud systems, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion migration projects and proficiency in managing cloud platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Atlassian.
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Fusion Cloud services are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Windows.
  • Experience with Backup Lifecycle Management and knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
