Join Hays Senior Finance, a leading recruitment agency, in our M&A Tax team and take your career to the next level. As a Tax Director or Associate Director, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering exceptional services to clients across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand your M&A skills and expertise
- Gain exposure to a diverse client base, including large international and mid-cap private equity houses, infrastructure funds, multinational companies, and emerging capital providers
- Participate in all aspects of the deal cycle, from due diligence services to tax structuring, SPA, and financing document input
- Develop your technical skills through training, coaching, or providing guidance to junior team members
- Contribute to client business development activities and hone your marketing skills
- Be part of a team that values diversity and inclusion, committed to prioritizing our inclusion agenda
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading M&A Tax team, delivering high-profile projects and advising UK and international clients on transaction tax and commercial M&A issues. You will have the chance to:
- Manage a portfolio of high-profile projects
- Conduct due diligence in respect of mergers and acquisitions
- Engage in ad-hoc project work
- Develop a broader perspective on potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and strategies to overcome them
- Understand the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification is preferred
- Exposure to international clients
- Prior M&A experience gained in a professional services firm is preferred
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- The ability to analyze information, identify issues, and prioritize them
