Job Title: Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | Permanent | Up to £40,000

Cherry Professional is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to conduct Mechanical Maintenance, servicing, and repairs to customer machinery across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults with machinery
  2. Servicing and emergency repairs to ensure minimal downtime
  3. Implement asset care plans and PM schedules for automated filling and packaging equipment, robotics, site services, and liquids processing equipment
  4. Identify root causes of plant, machinery, and services breakdowns and implement required mechanical asset care
  5. Assist with contractor servicing of plant, machinery, and services
  6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  7. Follow maintenance schedules and perform routine servicing of machinery
  8. Contribute to process improvement, quality, reporting, and safety initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Proven mechanical knowledge and experience
  2. Experience working on a range of mechanical breakdowns and repairs of plant, machinery, and services
  3. Experience implementing PM schedules and asset care plans
  4. Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems
