About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Specialist to join our team at Intertek. As a Retail Food Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits at various food establishments, including fast-food chains, high street restaurants, and commercial food venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards
  • Travel to clients' sites to conduct audits
  • Work with a variety of food and restaurant clients, including fast-food chains and high street restaurants
  • Collaborate with our experienced team to provide training and support

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a retail, restaurant, or food factory/processing environment
  • Or 2 years of experience conducting audits
  • Mathematics and English GCSEs, or equivalent
  • Full driving license and own car

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Level 2, 3, or Level 4 Food Safety qualification
  • Level 2, 3, or Level 4 HACCP qualification
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in a Restaurant/Food environment
