The SumUp Point of Sale is one of the fastest-growing product lines at SumUp. Our objective is to create unique and efficient methods for consumers to purchase goods and services, ranging from QR-code-based pay-at-table solutions to large touchscreen kiosks.

About the Role
As a (Senior) Android Developer, you will be engaged in the development of our SumUp Kiosk Android application. You will collaborate within a small, cross-functional team of talented individuals who are envisioning the future of payments.
To excel in this position, you should be a product-oriented engineer, passionate about understanding the problem domain and enhancing the product for merchants.
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in your craft is essential. You will be expected not only to deliver features but also to actively participate in the decision-making process.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement significant and impactful features of the Android application for Kiosk.
- Familiarize yourself with the SumUp SuperApp repository and deepen the integrations between our POS Lite SuperApp and the Kiosk.
- Assist in expanding the kiosk into new markets and territories globally.
- Engage in pair programming, share knowledge, and mentor team members on best coding practices.
- Proactively identify technical issues and propose solutions to enhance the reliability, security, and maintainability of the codebase.
