About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Storage Systems Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced energy storage systems models, including steady state, dynamic, and EMT analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement energy storage solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the contracting of new providers, including the development of technical requirements and the evaluation of service providers.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of probabilistic capability for Restoration via @risk software (or equivalent), including stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct technical assessments to support commercial evaluations of new providers.
  • Produce technical analysis reports on model outcomes, aligned with project deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain standards, policies, and procedures for information management and governance related to energy storage systems.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Electricity System Restoration Standard.

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineer or a degree in a STEM subject or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in data handling, IT skills, and modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
