About the Role
Warrington Borough Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Attendance Support Officer to join our team. As an Attendance Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to attendance and ensure that attendance exceeds national averages for all pupil groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze attendance and punctuality data to inform decision-making and support the development of strategies to improve attendance.
- Liaise with other support services both internally and externally to provide a package of support for pupils to ensure positive attendance.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and carers to identify and address attendance-related issues.
- Develop and implement attendance strategies to support pupils with complex needs.
- Provide guidance and support to pupils, parents, and carers on attendance-related issues.
