About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Head of IT and Infrastructure to lead our IT, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams across Australia, France, Belgium, and the UK. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our IT operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animate the global IT, Infrastructure, and DevOps vision with the team.
  • Lead and mentor the team of managers and leads, providing technical and managerial guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with peers, Heads of Tech, and other stakeholders to ensure the best level of tooling, support, and service from the team.
  • Manage the teams in deploying Agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
  • Respond to incidents on mission-critical systems, ensuring the platform remains secure and highly available.
  • Manage SLAs, improvement plans, and associated KPIs.
  • Design and implement robust monitoring systems to identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive improvements to the platform and tooling used to deliver a reliable, secure, and high-performance platform.
  • Automate and streamline CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust and quick builds and deployments.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies within the business to improve the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of the tools and platform.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and mentor a team towards achieving goals.
  • Proven experience in IT, Infrastructure, and DevOps Management or similar role, preferably in a software development or SaaS environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure Cloud and/or AWS and Containerisation technologies, strong experience in system admin and/or network admin.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on driving solutions in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cloud certifications, DevOps certifications, or industry-specific certifications are advantageous.
