Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience as a Technician or Mechanic in the automotive sector, including Cars, LCVs, Vans, HGVs, or related fields
  • Qualification at Level 3 in vehicle repair or equivalent
  • Technical expertise to ensure maintenance and repairs adhere to manufacturer specifications
  • Ability to accurately diagnose vehicle faults
  • Experience in conducting safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOTs
  • Proficiency in completing necessary paperwork, including job cards and service records
  • Basic computer skills are advantageous
  • A valid UK driving license
Working Hours

The working schedule for this role is:

  • Monday to Friday: 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Alternate Saturday mornings: 8 AM to 12 PM
Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Light Commercial Vehicle Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Servicing and maintaining a diverse range of Cars, LCVs, and Vans
  • Conducting safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOTs
  • Performing fault diagnostics
  • Ensuring repairs are executed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
  • Conducting road tests of vehicles as required, subject to licensing restrictions
