Key Responsibilities
We are in search of a skilled paediatric nurse who can operate independently to provide care for children experiencing acute health issues at home, while also contributing to the evolving community nursing team. Your role will involve:
- Delivering high-quality acute nursing care within the community.
- Collaborating with a team of experienced nursing professionals and serving as a mentor to both nurses and students.
- Engaging in the development of existing ambulatory and unscheduled care pathways to prevent unnecessary hospital stays.
- Facilitating early discharges from inpatient care when appropriate.
This role is both challenging and fulfilling, offering a unique chance to enhance your acute care skills in both community and acute settings.
About the Organization
You will be part of a close-knit team located within a dedicated paediatric assessment unit, working in conjunction with various paediatric wards and referring healthcare providers.
