Consult, a leading consultancy firm in the chemical space, is currently looking for a Senior Regulatory Professional to join their team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our regulatory affairs team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' compliance with EU and UK REACH regulations.

In this role, you will leverage your chemistry expertise and global chemicals management knowledge to manage expansive chemicals notification projects, with a focus on European Union and United Kingdom regulations. You will be responsible for providing high-level expertise in different areas of REACH dossiers, including data analysis, dossier preparation, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage global chemicals management compliance projects, including EU REACH and UK REACH services.
  • Provide 'Only Representative' services or similar, with associated data and project management tasks.
  • Participate in REACH Lead Registration/Co-registration.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, facilitating meetings and progressing projects.
  • Identify and exploit new business opportunities through skills and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant industry or consultancy experience, working with EU/UK REACH including project management.
  • IUCLID and REACH IT Proficiency.
  • Sound understanding of organic chemistry, chemical structures, and naming conventions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
  • Ability to commute to Manchester offices as required.
