Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough refurbishments of compressors and related mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Create detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence to effectively communicate findings to clients.
  • Participate in manufacturer training sessions as required to enhance technical knowledge.
  • Deliver high-quality repairs and refurbishments of compressed air machinery.
  • Identify and propose necessary upgrades to compressors to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Occasionally travel to client locations for maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment.
  • Collaborate with various engineering departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in refurbishment or workshop settings, specifically with compressors, motors, pumps, generators, and other mechanical components.
  • A background as a Refurbishment Engineer, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar roles within mechanical engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for mechanical repairs.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related qualification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in interpreting mechanical schematics and diagrams.
  • A willingness to commute and travel to customer sites as necessary.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, along with:
