Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee a small team of installation engineers based in the North West, within food process manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all pipework and process plant is stripped out effectively and organised for re-installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee a small team of installation engineers – travel to customer site (The Wirral).
  2. 50% hands-on, 50% supervisory/office duties when on site.
  3. Ensuring all pipework and process plant is stripped out effectively and organised for re-installation.
  4. Ensure RAMs are being adhered (Risk Assessments & Method statements), and writing RAMs where necessary.
  5. Report writing, & quotations for smaller customer projects circa £10-£20k value.
  6. Work to company processes and standards in conjunction with management.
Requirements:
  1. Time served ideally in Mechanical engineering/fabrication/welding/pipefitting.
  2. Ideally SSSTS, JIB card, black or gold safety card.
  3. Food/beverage/pharma process industry experience essential.
  4. IT skills – MS Outlook, Excel etc.
  5. Flexible to travel around the North West (Manchester – The Wirral etc).
