Job Title: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer/Installation

CV Bay Ltd is seeking an experienced Field-Based Refrigeration and A/C Engineer to join our team in the North West region, covering Manchester to Blackburn.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to work on a wide range of equipment, including Upright and Under Counter Fridges and Freezers, Display Fridges, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, bottle coolers, VRVs, VRFs, and Splits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service and repair, with a focus on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment
  • Work on a variety of equipment, including Upright and Under Counter Fridges and Freezers, Display Fridges, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, bottle coolers, VRVs, VRFs, and Splits
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • FGAS certification
  • NVQ level 2 refrigeration and air conditioning (desirable)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience in field-based Refrigeration and A/C engineering
Package:
  • Basic salary up to £37,000
  • 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Door-to-door paid
  • Callout 1 in 6 - £100 standby
  • 30 days holiday plus birthday rising to 34 in 12 months
  • Overtime expectancy
