We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our fast-growing commercial client based integrated team in the C. Reading area. The ideal candidate will have a positive approach and friendly manner, with excellent prospects to progress to a broader Finance Management opportunity as experience grows.
Credit Control: Following procedures in a fast-paced team environment, including filing online Court claims as necessary, and daily allocation of customer payments from Sage system.
Financial Management: Raising credit notes, dealing with customer invoice queries, and reviewing 'Customers over credit limits' on a weekly basis.
Administrative Tasks: Monthly Bank reconciliations, processing annual customer rebates, reconciling monthly credit card statements, and maintaining accuracy of spreadsheets.
Requirements:The successful candidate will have:
- 2+ years previous Finance / Accounts department experience including credit control
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Good educational grades including Maths
- Car driver and own transport preferred
