The EdEx - Education Recruitment team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Inclusion Support Assistant to join our client's exceptional team. As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex behavioral needs, providing a positive and assertive role model, and helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) to engage in the classroom and develop their social skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Provide one-to-one support and small group work to accommodate the needs of students
- Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures and policies
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
- A 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable University
- Genuine interest in working with students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations
- Calm and compassionate nature
