About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team at Footballco. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers with various technical, administrative, and client relationship tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and manage contract and commercial agreement reviews
  • Conduct legal research on applicable regulations, laws, and legal requirements
  • Prepare legal documents, such as contracts, correspondence with other parties, and legal pleadings
  • Handle confidential client or case information
  • Prepare reports for lawyers and other employees of Footballco
  • Conduct meetings with internal clients and provide them with legal information and take instructions
  • Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and submit reports on pertinent changes
  • Organize legal files and administration of workflow and case management systems
  • Maintain contracts databases
  • Arrange meetings with clients and other lawyers
  • Attend to general administrative duties and basic clerical tasks
  • Archive and dispose of documents following department protocols
  • Liaise with external agencies to organize translators, notaries, and transcribers
  • Liaise with external legal and company secretarial services providers
  • Provide support to the legal, Finance, and Human Resources teams in implementing new policies and procedures and operational and organizational objectives
  • Comply with all relevant internal rules, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • Customer service and/or administrative experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail
  • A motivated self-starter who is a good team player
  • Highly organized and efficient in time management
  • Comfortable handling large workloads under time constraints
