Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Excellence: Maintain and continuously improve our Goods Inwards Inspection process.
  • Ensure Precision: Perform first-off validations against drawings and test specifications for new or modified parts.
  • Accurate Reporting: Create clear and concise IDR and Supplier Investigation Reports (SIR) reports to keep everyone informed.
  • Manage Samples: Maintain and store 1st off Golden samples efficiently.
  • Investigate & Resolve: Prepare and manage SIRs for non-conforming parts and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work with purchasing and supply chain teams to agree on product dispositions and provide insights on non-conforming products.
  • Optimise Inspections: Determine and drive inspection requirements back to suppliers to minimise workload.
  • Quality Control: Track and analyse inspection items using D365 to reduce non-conformances.
  • Process Management: Refine and optimise DDM Supplier Quality processes and Material Control Document workflows.
  • Conformity Checks: Ensure new parts meet design specifications and are automation-ready.
  • Audit Support: Participate in supplier component audits as per schedule.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee programming and calibration of measuring equipment, ensuring up-to-date software and proper labelling.
  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage D365 for process improvements and ensure transactions are clear, accurate, and timely.
