Stockroom Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our retail operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores are well-stocked and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage inventory, including sorting, checking, and preparing donated items for sale
- Handle and move deliveries of furniture and appliances, ensuring timely and efficient processing
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to safety regulations and promoting health and wellbeing
- Identify unsaleable donations for recycling, minimizing waste and maximizing revenue
- Keep the stockroom organized and tidy, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- A motivated and flexible individual with a passion for customer service and sustainability
- Previous retail experience is not essential, but a keen eye for detail and ability to work independently is crucial
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to guide volunteers and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work under pressure and on own initiative, with a strong attention to detail
